I've been an avid user of Bandcamp and it's multi format/music library features. But I notice more and more that bigger producers don't give much of a damn about it. I honestly love Bandcamp with a passion and it makes actually downloading albums much easier than having them for a day or two. How do you guys feel?

I think it's great for starting out and learning the ropes, I always think it's another outlet, but if you're serious long term you need to be getting on Beatport etc......
Getting on Beatport isn't easy unless you use labelworx, labelworx with take a large percentage of earnings however.

There are firms such as CDbaby that will charge a fixed fee per single or album for publishing on Spotify, iTunes, Beatport and the like.

That said, they are still relatively pricey. I've applied for a Labelworx account to see what kind of commission they're going to ask for.
Here's a handy comparison chart: http://www.tunecore.co.uk/tunecore-vs-cdbaby

I've actually used all three: tunecore, cd baby and bandcamp. (also add IMOdownload to the list, btw.)
Things that didn't turn out so pretty with tunecore is that for roughly 15 to 20 singles at around 10 bux each, when it came out to re-new the following year, the music had only amassed somewhat below $3 (three) dollars in total.
CD Baby... I like the fact that there's no annual fee, besides the setup one. Been on it for about a year now with an album. Earnings last time I checked, 18 cents.
Bandcamp. no fees (there is a catch though, if you read their policies, but I think its fair) unless you want a pro account. Earnings so far, about 3 dollars in about 5 years.
Now, I know I'm placing myself as a very shitty marketing person but I feel I had to share the crude reality of my experience with selling music. I'd really like to make a living out of just djing and producing but to be honest the market is flooded with content. Really good content, in some cases, but the opposite can be said, too.
if anything, go for bandcamp.

convert vocal tracks to hardcore if you want $10,000 instead of $3.18, hardcore has 12 festivals to itself around europe with everyone wearing the merchandise and will happily spend $2 on a single if its mainstream and good

that's like asking "what's your opinion on buckfast".
it's not for everyone but it works for the people that like it.

I think with Bandcamp not being a "go to" place for Hardcore in the same way that TiD/Beatport etc are then your social media game is gonna have to be strong to make up for the fact that you're gonna miss out on a lot of traffic by not being in the new releases on the Hardcore sections of those sites.
I'm giving Bandcamp a whirl with some of my old Hardcore releases and all my new Breakbeat stuff... I've got a decent following on FB so we'll see how that one goes. It would be great to be more independent and actually get reasonable returns for all the time & effort put in to making the music
