Honestly?
This kind of thing is everything that's wrong with Hardcore. Even if it was a great tune, that would be lost because of the vocal.
I don't mind the odd cheeky bootleg of a decent pop tune but everything gets done these days.
It doesn't need to be familiar to be good.

Playing it way too safe with the arrangement, imho. There's a considerable gap between it and the quality of the vocal.

Anyways, the track depends way to much on the vocals. nothing in the background really makes a tune stand out

I have no idea who Ariana Grande is but the instrumental sounds way too basic. Is it a work in progress or is that the finished track?

Comments are a bit hostile... it needs more work and a touch of inspiration. And a completely new sound set. And a better mix down.
In a nutshell, use the arrangement as a platform to build upwards from and try and make it sound like it's not been produced only using sounds from the default fruity loops library

Yeah I'm still learning as a producer. It's up to Matt from the Organ Donors to make a decision on it and see where we go from there. We might write an original score for it like Matt did with the Taylor Swift track (which sounds awesome!).

Yeah. Matt will do a way better job with it than I'm capable of. It's just a guide for him to make a decision on working on it or not.

my reply had a more perverted thought behind it. I don't know how old she is (I presume she's over 18 by now), but she still looks like she's barely over 15.
