I've made a lot of drum samples (that I've recorded myself (wave-files)). But how do make them loop and use more than one at a time? What kind of program do I need? I mean, I could bang my drums till kingdom come and make a pretty good beat, but the neighbours might frown upon that :) It's probably a really simple question, but I haven't figured it out.

you need a sequencer m8. i'd go for cubase myself, you can run 8 tracks of audio at once with that. but it'll take up all your processor SO another program called soundforge will record wave files. run them all while recording it through sound forge, top and tail it,and you have your drum loops

Thanks =) I should have gotten that.. sequence .. er. Wasn't all that off though, I started Reason2 in school, but didn't understand a single thing so I just closed it down ;) Thanks again, now I know what I'm looking for. I'll have those tribal breaks on the way in no time, I hope =)

yeah - a sequencer.
Personally, I think the best place to start (in your situation) is ACID.
Thats a very simple (in theory) wav sequencer. Can also help you learn other, hard products.

Unless you have a computer faster than 50MHz lol. I run Logic Audio on a P3 700MHz and regularly use about 20 tracks at once with effects, and rarely have trouble
