Ok, i really admire hardcore music and love to mix and scratch on my friends decks but he spent over 3000 notes on his mixer and decks (including a kick ass sound system) but its incredible i get such a vibe when i mix and scratch, i know i can get any vinyl i want (well almost) from a shop in the town centre in glasgow.

Anyway, i want to have my own set now, i know if i want a really good professional set but i dont have a lot of money (about £1500) wondering if there was a good place on the net for cheap good equipment?

Thanks for the help

Depends on how much taxes you pay for your items in your country...say I was going to import a Tech 1200 for $400 US...I would have to pay 15% (Canadian taxes) duty on it...(To bring it into the country)...

Some places will mark down the value for you so the duty will not cost as much...just ask in the emails when ordering...

A lot of times companies will sell package deals where they'll give you decent equipment at a lower price because of the fact you're buying the whole lot from them at once. If you can stand to skimp on the sound system and hook your setup to your home stereo (you can rent systems fairly cheap for when you play out) you can get quite a nice setup with 1200s and a vestax mixer - buy a copy of DJ magazine and flip through it, you'll see all sorts of ads for these packages ranging from about $300 to about $3000+

All I know is that to me, you look like you're lots of fun, open up your loving arms - watch out here I come!
