i have bought a second hand numark 2000x mixr and am new to djing. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the x-control does and how to use it (it had 3 options - off,ch2/3 and ch3/2)
Also what do the PFL and send buttons do?please help a new dj =)

aight, the x-control is the cross fader control (x-fader) off means it does nothing when you move it, 2/3 means that on the left side is chanell w and the right side is channel 3, and the 3/2 (hamster) is channel 3 on the left and 2 on the right
PFL sends it to your headphones when it's on
send is for taking a send of a song to sample out, i don't use it because it has no good use that i've found =P

Send is good if you have an external effector, you can loop back in to the mixer and apply effects to each turntable individually. You can also run it through a 16 channel EQ (something i used to do when I recorded live CDs) so that you can make changes to poorly mastered records..

Those are transform buttons, they're the numark equivalent to a hamster. They reverse the crossfader real quick so that you can do lightning-fast cuts and stuff. They're actually mighty useful. Why don't you experiment yourself?

yep, they reverse the crossfader, so if you have it all the way one way, it'll play like all the way the other way, and if you hvae it 80% channel 2 and 20% channel two, you hit it so it would be 80% 3 and 20% 2. the one on the right is for when the fader is on the left half and vice versa for the other switch
