point of laser guided decks is to have no wear and tear on the record itself. the laser doesn't end up damaging the record like a stylus does.

Of course the problem is, it looks like the player cant have much control over the record(correct me if Im wrong). Though if it have like a pioneer cdj-1000 like turntable jog dial or something, that would be pretty cool!

it doesn't look like a dj's deck so i doubt it'll have pitch control let alone a jog wheel

I just bought 2 tech 12's MKII with mods:
- blue strobe lights
- No more annoying clicks on the pitch control
- International plug in
- RCA adapter plug in

Got them for 1000$ CDN
that's really good concidering 1 new one is 750$ plus tax :P

They've been working fine, and I love them

way better then my old Gemini SA-600

Yeah right now those laser dex are more for just playing old vintage vinyl, something that would be good for collectors so they could just listen to their vinyl as often as they like without worrying about degrading the quality.

I want that laser thing so I can play in my car... something tells me it'd be a lot less liable to skip ;)

Imagine... driving down the highway... putting down the top and slipping your favorite 33 in to the radio. :p
