I need to upgrade my tables...right now I'm using Gemini XL-300 and I think it's time I upgrade...
I'm interested in the 2 above in the header...I've heard nothing on either of them...
Can someone give me the run down of the 2 please??? if you have either of them how are they???...this will really help me decide which ones I buy (Gotta start saving)
thanks in advance...

I ued to have the Stanton STR8-100's, they are pretty good. They have a reverse button, and a button to adjust the pitce(8,10 & 20%) and have a straignt arm, they are pretty good turntables. Unfortunately they got stolen. I've never usedte denon's so I wouldn't know about them. Why no get Technics?

I'd rather go with the the stantons. Stanton all the way if you're making that choice.
I have to agree, though, if you're looking in the ballpark of the 100s, why not buy 12s? I love mine, as most DJs do...
Edit: How exactly did your decks get stolen?

The digital out is for newer stereo systems. Mostly, its used to transfer Dolby 5.1 data, or straight digital information. Its kindof nice if you want to do a straight digital feed say like into a computer, for recording archiving purposes(if your soundcard supports digital coxal in!). On my stantons STR8-60's, they have the digital coaxal type of output. There is also a digital optical, where it uses light to transfer data, but I dont think eather turntables your looking at uses this method.
Very few mixers have digital inputs/outputs right now, and they cost a bundle(like some of the higer end tascams, pioneer, allen and heath, etc).
So good RCA plugs are fine for right now.

woops! I made a huge mistake regarding mixers that support digital inputs. going thru the prosound catalog, Denon makes one that cost mid 300 us. And the Pionner, Tascam, etc, only have digital outputs.
Wanted to mention that, hate posting wrong info!
On the other thing yall started talking about, I tell you the worst thing in the world is that you get a craving to spin. Kindof like food cravings. Normally they occour during times that I'm away from home like at parents home or something. So instead, you make these false attempts to mix in your head and then you take the idea back to the tables, and of course they rarely work out..that bites man..

dunno whether or not u made ur decision but if ur still unsure, get the stantons, coz they are a good bit of kit despite not having all that good of a reputation in the past. the reason for that being so n e way is due to the likes of the vestax and the technics out there always leading the market for decks, with geminis following quite close behind.
so at the end of the day my advice to u is get the stantons over the denon
