Definitely position your equipment to what is most comfortable for you. There definitely should be no "intense back pain" when DJing just for two hours.
Should be similar to using a standing desk, your back should be straight. Look up "ergonomics" on standing desks.
Are you hunched over? If so raise it up! Raise the roof!

Decks should be about the height of a bar, if they are not you can't be hunched over it for 2 hours :)
Consider yourself lucky you don't have to haul 45 pounds (20 kilos) of vinyl around as well these days :)

Yea.. It sounds like you either have back problems or your decks are far too low.
On a side note... Has anyone ever tried DJing sat down? What a dull experience it is haa

I used to do it sat on the floor years ago when i didn't have a table to put my decks on, very strange feeling indeed!

You should probably do some stretching exercises before, or maybe yoga lol. I know it sounds odd but I think it will help.
And I know someone who would DJ while sitting in a chair. Yes it's a dull experience but he's like 6'5" and it is a killer on his back to stand everywhere he DJs.
