i need to know how to speed vocals up so they match up with the tune... and i dont want to to that breakdown shit where it drops down to 140...

this would help alot, thanks!

but the 140 dropdown bit if your using cubase is easy

double click the master button on the transport bar
tada.. master window...
draw tempo lines on that to suit or use list edit.. and thar she blows

yeh use acid's beatmapper then tick the box that says dont change pitch, then when u whack it on 180bpm the vocals will be 180bpm but will still be the same pitch, i think..

you get clicks and pops that way tho
the best way is to run it through wavelab (better than soundforge for timestretching imo) then do it bits at a time,like 150 then 160 then 170 up to 180

highlight the part you're gonna adjust,then at the top go to process\time stretch. in the source put the original tempo speed then in the result bit put the tempo you want to change it to. voila
