ive seen the live stream of ultra music festival, very few artists have mc's on their sets, how about smaller events like warehouse parties or things like that, do those have mc's. I know like 90% of hardcore events have mc's, im just wondering about electo house.

I very much doubt any genres other than Hardcore and DnB have MC's.

Genre's like dubstep and grime might have, and of course hip hop and the like.
Depends what you class the MC as, it could just be someone who announces the performer and that's it. Or it could be the DJ themself (particularly for a younger crowd or in a cheesy nightclub) with all the "put your hands in the air" "somebody scream" drivel.
Some acts might have an MC of their own, if they if they are a regular vocalist for them, that might appear at live events/PAs.

I wouldn't have thought electro and the like would need them really. It's just not 'that' kind of music.

nope, and that's probably the only positive about those genres is the lack of MCs.

I don't mind some MCs, but I wish the MCs in UK hardcore were more like the MCs in gabber hardcore and DnB. The less they say, the better.
