Its probably been done a few times on here, but why have you picked your username?
I'll start
My surname is Doherty, but when I was young I got annoyed that everyone pronounced it Docherty (this is a totally different surname in Donegal) so I called myself The Doc

I had someone pick it out for me in a chat when I wanted to create a new account for something. Then I just used it for a number of things, including this site.

Way back when I was in middle school, back when we all used AOL Instant Messenger I came up with the name "ChexMixer" mixer of chex... not sure why, just came to me.
Kept the name as a screen name and it eventually became my DJ name. The "mixer" part made more sense in terms of DJing, so I figured "Aw yea.... DJ CHEXMIXER"

when I was 15/16 years old (in 2000) myself, my (now) wife and a friend were drunkenly discussing Wiccan/Celtic symbols and I rather liked the look of a particular one which apparently was a "Triquatra"
and I quite liked the idea of taking on "DJ Triquatra" because "DJ" first was all the rage back then and I had been looking for a DJ name for 2 years (having being DJing since 1998).
in 2009 I shifted from focusing on DJing and moved to production which when I did "Flux" and "Sleep" then in 2010 I completed "Feel It" with Dana which was about the time when I thought "well, perhaps it's time to drop the "DJ" bit...so I asked silver to change my name on here and also changed a few profiles so it was just "Triquatra"
as it turns out there is a possibility that one of us spelt it incorrectly and apparently it may actually be spelt "Triquetra" but that looks and sounds even more stupid than the typo

Erm.....my initials with 'dj' stuck in front of it!
Actually never intended the dj part as i didn't feel the need to add that i was one, but when i first started using the tinternet and signing up for forums etc my 3 letter username was too short for most so i had to add it on!

I used to be in a band called Breaking Sirens, I quite liked the word "Sirens" so when I left the band over a directional disagreement (They wanted to play pop/punk and they didn't like the idea of becoming a UK Hardcore band! lol). So I used the word "Sirens" and coupled that with the idea of Smashing some of my old band mates in the face, hence the "Smashing The" at the beginning. Can be shortened to STS, even though that sounds like STI, or STD!!! But yeah figured that would be better than Ben (My real name), or something like Ben"Jammin"!!!!

It's my latest & final production alias for UK Hardcore/Breakbeat Hardcore
Ace is the first 3 letters of my last name & was a childhood nickname; Ace of Spades was come up with when me & a friend were trying to get rid of "TweaKn" as my production name because as I grew older people would associate it with drugs compared to my original intention which was "Tweek" from south park, I have ADHD & I'm autistic so I twitch a bit.
