They probably sound better from someone that knows how to EQ well than 3rd part ones from someone that doesn't though.

Simply because I'm used to them, never had any issues really. I have been looking into alternatives but it's literally just personal preference keeping me with those. Trying Pro-Q out atm, whether I completely stop using the FL defaults though, we'll see. :P I do however want to get away from the FL filter, it isn't great, it's just a case of what to use instead.

Whatever lorenzo lol. FL's EQs are fine. I use them over my oxford ones all the time.

I have these "narrow" minded views when it comes to plugins, It's just all about how you use them though & what you're comfortable with except when it comes to the FL sampler. that thing sucks!

Its not hard to understand at all, its just a sampler with its own effects and file library. What makes you think its better quality? Sound quality?

just personal experience, I've gotten cleaner drums from using Battery 3 than using the same sample in the FL Sampler, etc
