Fair doo's, though. Sounds like you didn't mean to sound quite as evil as you did! Ha. There are better ways to be nice than saying "not to sound like a prick", though! You could actually be nice. Bit of diplomatic language etc.

I've had the shock of my life today when I found out that I am not allowed to go on holidays during this time  , but thankfully I just noticed that I had the wrong date in my devestatet bloody brain. 50% / 50%!
