Cheers guys. No idea what to do with the rest of the track! :P Perhaps I'll cool it back down and then build it up even more with some slightly changed riffs too. Try and keep that progressive feel going.

Sounded good. I thought it felt quite energetic rather than chilled though. Did like.

Thanks mate. :) I guess I just mean chilled compared to thundering 175bpm kick drums rather than other Trance stuff haha.

Easy to loose yourself in this one mate. Cooling it down and building it up with a progression of the riffs sounds like a plan.
Keep us posted. :)

I think adding a sidechain to the bass would be a nice touch =)

Get out.
Seriously though if that's not already exactly what he's done then i don't know what it is.

As far as I hear, he did that only at beginning of bars. There might be sidechain on every beat, like I meant when i said sidechain, but personally I can't hear that

All throughout as far as i can hear. Very obviously so too. I'm interested to hear what your definition of side chaining is.

Yeah the bass is heavily sidechained against the kick already. I may tweak a few note lengths though as the rhythm isn't perfect. I also think maybe the bass is a bit too gritty and distorted in the mid range and needs more low end definition so I'll take a look at that. I instantly reach for the distortion with bass, that's Hardcore's fault. ;P

Suddenly dropping the volume and then increasing it back over a short time. It usually repeats on bassdrum hits. Am I wrong?
And yeah, now I can hear some sidechaining on every beat. My bad.
