I wish I could go to this but the powers that be (money, travel etc) just won't allow it

I've bought a ticket (how can you not, at 6!) but I'll have to make a decision closer to the time.

Wait wait, are you Serenity as in the Dj that made 'Headlong Into Mishchief'? If so, big props to you man. Love your stuff! Didn't know you posted on here :)

The word is correct! Tickets purchased, and hitching a ride with Serenity!
There's no way I could miss a night like this! :)

It's gonna be a great vacation!!
I won't be forgetting my earplugs though. I remember the whistle crew at all the hullabaloo's here (and well, was totally part of it, funfur outfits and all) ... I don't want to be deaf after this evening from an enthusiastic neighbor on the dance floor going overboard!

Gotta love earplugs..I think I'm in need of a new pair - mind you, you don't often hear whistles in the UK anymore, think most people have wised up to the fact they're mostly just irritating :p.
I like having ears that work!

Yeah, fair point actually. Tend to only get whistles at the big events here in the UK. I don't recall hearing any (or very, very few) at the last seven or eight events I've been too (all sub-500 people attendance).

The funny thing is, in other countries people wear them but in England no one gives a shit (on or 2 might). Or would even think about it. Being a bit deaf after raves is just accepted lol.

You don't really see them over here much any more either. Although I usually end up at trance, techno and DnB shows if I find the time to go out, so I could be completely wrong. I was guessing with the oldschool/nostalgic nature of this that there might be a few.
And yeah, earplugs - I never leave home without mine. Once your hearing is gone you can't get it back! I've been a musician my entire life, so I can't really imagine what it would be like losing that.
