Please tell me if you know of or have heard of a cheap keyboard midi controller, with at least 2 octaves, FL Studio compatibility, and 1 good piano sound preset/sample for jerking around while not in FL Studio (I really don't need more than that). I really need one. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: VERY cheap, maybe even used, but I need it being capable of playing at least 2 keys in the same time.

Ive got the 49 key version of this:

http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/320707541221?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&adtype=pla&crdt=0

I use it for FL etc, never had issues with it.

Found this also on a website I buy from a bit:

Example 4 (saw one on amazon.co.uk for 120 bucks but it's not in good state i guess)

Damn, still too expensive for me. Luckily, haveing a quick look I found one costing about $100 here in Croatia, maybe that'd be useful. Not sure if it has a standalone piano preset though.

problem is most 3o ones cost at least 200 but i hope your find is good. i actually would pick example 2 since it's really cheap including many buttons and software; it's in good shape aswell.

I know Yamaha still makes keyboards with speakers for playing right out of the box, but seriously, for the price you're better off getting a regular "non-sounding" midi controller. These usually come with synths and software and all the cool knobs and stuff.

I have a yamaha psr-195 I bought back in '99 but other than having the ability to play with the built-in speakers, it's the most basic midi controller one could ever find (i.e. no knobs, no faders, no mod wheel, no pitch wheel). also, if you're planning on taking some lessons or something and to be able to practice on it, I suggest you get one with more than 2 octaves.

This is kinda like the one I have. I saw another that was cheaper on ebay but didn't say if it had midi in-out, like this one does.

This yamaha keyboard is worth a look

it has a built in tutor for learning
dj mode lol (i believe this was the prototype of the DJX)
& i believe the grand piano is sampled......?

anyway have a look & check if the midi is good enough for you:

http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/Yamaha-PSR-170?ugid=10000000005643520

thats the link to the 170
the 220 has touch sensitive keys but no dj mode
The DJX & DJX 2 are also worth a look :)
