How many of you guys use TrackItDown and subscribes to their email?
If so, how many of you have tried using their xmas voucher offer?
I've been trying since day one but have not been able to use the voucher they sent to me (on 2 different email accounts funny enough).

latin: I tried for most of the time it was valid, but I got an error that I haven't purschased anything from them. Even tho I have a backorder from 2006/7 :P
I've heard from somewhere else that others are having this problem. I presume they will re-issue it, or it would be an outrage :P

Yep, same for me. Tried yesterday and today - says offer has expired (advertised as until midnight 27th)

Forgot to mention that somewhere in the email it says "we reserve the right to change or discontinue this offer at any time" or something similar to that.
My guess is they were overwhelmed with the responses to the offer that they capped it at a certain amount.

within 2 minutes of sending out the first mail?
then they must have put a cap on the first few hours, or they shouldn't have said "all customers".
The exact error message I got was "You need to have previously bought tracks, tickets or merchandise to use this voucher!", which doesn't sound like a lock-out (unless they didn't want to look like it :P).
Anyways, should I leave the conspiracy theories to blackcrow?

That was my first thought too. Bit harsh if people who tried straight away couldn't take advantage of the offer though.

ah yea, so it's different if it was a discount voucher instead? I wouldn't think so. Why would they send an email about it the day before, and then wont work during the 48 hours? Are you seriously telling me I am being unreasonable? They had an offer, and it didn't work, and they haven't sent me an reply to my email, which i emailed already the 25th.
Anyways, this is the section of the email in it's entirely:

I think it is unreasonable to complain about not getting something for free yes. They even warned you first: quote:
