I'm expecting a couple of quality vocal anthems in there somewhere.
Trying to remain positive!

unmixed copy of Darren Styles - Never Forget wouldn't go amiss! :)

I expect it to be underwhelming but with at least a few bangers here and there, as usual.
The reason I find CXH the most interesting compilation every year is because it's basically a mission statement for hardcore. It says where the genre's been in the last 12 months and, more importantly, where it's going next. Because, let's face it, between them, Hixxy, Styles and Breeze have more say in the general direction of hardcore than every other producer put together.
In terms of quality though, the best top tier compilation in recent years was Summer Madness! by far. That Dougal & Gammer disc was awesome.

I wonder if Breeze will field a far more D&B orientated mix

Styles will play a lot of his own stuff, not a problem in my eyes, I really like his newer stuff. Be good to see what remixes gets done for his mix!
I will also like to see Breeze's direction with the mix, I like his sets BUT... how far will AATW let him go on a "Hardcore" mix. I think he might be able to slip in a couple drumstep & maybe 1 DnB track but most will have to be hardcore orientated, ie with a 4/4 kick etc!!
Saw Hixxy play the other week and was really looking forward to hearing some new tracks, but it was mainly older stuff from 06 onwards but it was a absolute cracking set!
Can't wait to see tracklist ;)

Finally, somebody else really liked Summer Madness aswell as me! It really wasn't liked on here for some reason. Anyway CXH9 has got to be better than 8, by far and away the worse release in the series. Hope its more like 7, by far and away the best in the series.

i hope CXH9 isnt as irritating as number 8 as much as i respect Modulate as a artist i don't believe in a album being raped by him although it is a acheivement but best of both is what is needed here!
