I am talking about the diabolical, flip and f**kin fill version of shooting star and the even more recent heart of gold remake!
The way i see is, HH ppl can take a trance tune and make it into a good HH tune, but it doesn't seem to work the other way. Every trance version of a HH tune i have heard has been terrible!
Don't get me wrong, i like trance, but HH is where it's at!
Any one agree?

I used to be a bit funny when it came to all these HHC/TRANCE choons, but once u've listened to them properly u'll realise there well produced, decent choons. And they all seem to have Hixxy rmxs ;)

*grabs head* when will it stop!?
please... flip and fill have been beaten to death in the forums, dragged through the streets with burning effigies, and then buried and had their graves danced on... there are several other F&F threads where you'll find this exact same conversation a several times over =)

Hardcore is Hardcore, not trance! When will tossers like Flip n Fill realise that hardcore was made to be hardcore and not to be remixed as a trance tune. Personally, all the so called great remixs have been total rubbish, Kelly Llorenna can not sing a note, and that trance has ruined to killer hardcore anthems. If ya ask me i think that because hardcore is now turning heads again, the trance remixers are cashing in to make a quick 'buck', but they are not fooling the veterans of hardcore, like myself and countless others,
PISS OFF BACK TO YOUR TRANCE SONGS AND STAY OUTTA OUR BELOVED HARDCORE!!!!!!

I agree totaly, HHC shouldn´t be remixed into trance, then it just becomes totally crap, espesially when f&f does it!!

I would agree, but the ammount of Trance songs that have been ripped by HHC cancels out anything wrong with HHC being remixed into Trance.
And i'll say what has been said many times, Trance remix's are not a bad thing, but quite the opposite, as remix's bring attention to HHC which would otherwise not happen. Nothing is being taken away from the scene when a remix is done, nothing at all, so you should see the positive side to these remixes.

In your opinion, which not everyone shares with you (as evidenced by the commercial success that trance enjoys).
Don't get me wrong - I hate trance in general, with a vengeance, and I agree that these trance remixes of HHC songs are ball-suckingly bad and I think you'll find that a good number of people on this board will agree.
Go to a trance-oriented forum, though, and you'll probably find the opposite - these trance remakes are excellent, and they'll probably think those HHC remakes of trance songs are crap - well, that is, they *would* think they're crap if they've heard 'em, which probably isn't the case considering how un-mainsteam HHC is.
Anyway, on a more general note I think enough's been said on the matter. If you guys don't like the tracks, then don't listen to or buy them - you don't have to go around slagging off another genre because of it. Like Hard2Get sez, the hardcore scene's just as guilty as any other, if not more, of ripping off other genres' music ... oh, and like Nick of Blaze said in another thread, at least F&F *licensed* the tracks they used. How many HHC remakes do you think are that legitimate? :P

Why is everyone so narrow minded on here? Its one thing expressing an opinion but this is just silly.
