Objective answer: Try all of the big sequencers and see which one you like the most. Personal answer: Any of the Cubase's.

What Hard2Get said, although I would recommend Studio One 2 instead. Also, stay away from Sonar X1/X2 and Acid Pro. Both are riddled with bugs and poor design choices.

this question was asked a lot on hardcore producer
the best answer imho was:
If your daw holds you back, from doing what you want to do, change to one that wont hold you back, if the daw isnt holding you back then theres no real need to change.

I'm thinking to pass to Cubase actually, it's worth it than using FL Studio?

It is entirely subjective. If you don't like using Cubase then it won't be better for you. FL doesn't have any real limitations so if you can do it you can do it with FL generally. After that it's just preference. I would say Cubase is significantly better for working with audio however, at least since i last used FL, which was version 5 (tried version 6 too).

Cubase 7 has just been anounced this week. http://www.steinberg.net ...so you might want to wait a couple more weeks.

It still is. Audio editing is something that lets FL down a bit along with the mixer routing in comparison to Cubase. I own both though and still choose to work in FL for most projects. I can get things done much quicker and hear no difference in the overall sound personally. According to those in the know it's now mathematically impossible for them to sound different in fact.

I'm expecting a flaming but I use Sony Acid Music. Costs as little as 30.00 and you can download a free 30 day trial.
