What headphones are you using? I use pioneer hdj1000's for djing and producing at home and the inner cloth type thingy covering the centre is non-existant at this point. They still sound good though which is why I haven't replaced them.

I'm using AKG K135's, use them as a 3rd reference & the now non-existant foam was in the centre, still work ok & are comfortable enough. thanks for the replies guys, but they are beyond help now
