Alright, I've decided I'm going to this party. Only problem is I can't find a way to get tickets in the US. Can anyone help me out with this?

Well not surprising indeed... we only get two types of hardcore here in Belgium. The dutch thunderdome style gabber, which is dominated by skinheads who are not welcoming at all. Then we get the French hardcore, which sounds like the end of the world. Speedcore and hardtech mainly really... dominated by the ****ed up French. It's the apitomy really... definatly not happy!

Alright, I got my passport and flight planned out. Now I need a ticket, but Ticketmaster UK won't send overseas and I can't pick it up at their offices. I'm sick of racking up long distance bills and not getting anywhere. The guy said the capacity of the venue is 50,000. So here's my question. What's the possibility of me getting a ticket at the door? I know if there was a event with a capacity like that here there's no way it would sell out, but I know the dance scene there is bigger. They said there will be tickets at the door, think if I get there early I'll get one?

That is strange that they told you that candyass...
For me they said it was allright. I am picking mine up at their ticket outlet. Perhaps they said allright for me because I am getting more than just one ticket.
Sory for the advice then...

Stopping somewhere overnight? What do you mean? And you're right, that would suck if I fly all the way there and couldn't get in.

Well if you fly all the way there, you must get in!
If you can really promise to be there, I can go check for a ticket for you as soon as I am in London. (which should be on sunday the 29th) But you must come, coz I don't wanna be stuck with a £37 ticket for nothing.
As far as lodging is concerned... me and two other friends should find a hotel (cheap hopefully). We plan on staying four nights. One more, one less, doesn't make a big difference... other than you will have to pay a littl' somethin' still I think to the hotel. We havn't made reservations yet, but this should be done sometime within the next few days. Then you are more than welcome to come back to Brussels with us [img]
Might as well do a tour while you are here

That would be really nice of you...if I can't find another way to get a ticket I would appreciate it if you would get one for me when you get there on the 29th. I will definately be coming and I'll get a hold of you closer to New Years and tell you what's up. I work for a hotel and there's a Quality Inn owned by the same company as mine in Milton Keynes. I should be able to get a cheap price, about 20 pounds at the most per night...but I'll talk you about it..I'll PM you now.

I got an e-mail from this guy Ian at Slammin' Vinyl. He was much more helpful then those Ticketmaster people and he said I can pay for my ticket with credit card through them and they'll have it for me at the door. How nice. So there's that situation taken care of. I also made hotel reservations today (in London though) so now all I need to do is be there! Thanks for your concern and see you in the UK!

Question: How easy to use and reliable is the train system in Britain? Like if I find a station in Slough (West London) and tell them I want to go to Saxon Street in Milton Keynes will they be able to just sell me a ticket and tell me what to do?

sure they'll be able to tell you how to get there and what times, but as for what times they'll actually be . . . ;)

Our trains aren't terrible, but they aren't the most reliablein the world.

Right on...I called the National Rail phone number and they said I pretty much need to take Slough to Pattington and from there I have to take a subway to Euston. The Euston station has a train that goes to the Bletchly station which is the closest to the venue according to the guys at Slammin' Vinyl. So long as I get there before the party goes off I'll be happy.
