If these guys are anything to judge by.

Back in 09, my then girlfriend moved house a km up the road in an inner-city suburb called Glebe. She moved with five others who she had lived with that year in student accommodation. By moving into the house, they kicked some other guys out who the owner didn't really like for some reason. Getting kicked out of the house, they decided to tour Australia, kicking off their music careers.

My first thought 20 seconds into listening to them was "Oh Lord, it's alternative rock again!!" With another minute or so thought they sounded a whole lot like the crannberries with a bit of garbage thrown in.

Nothing particularly offensive about that but it all sounds very familiar.

I'm hearing Texas (among others).

Yeh, I'd go with familiar, though not particularly recent. It's a sound in music I very much enjoy.

Good music already came back, it's called KPop.

In a bit more serious note, not really a big fan of alternative rock. Like a song here and there, and TBH those are neither here nor there.

on a more serious note, it sounds ok but it's a sound that is very familiar in the US. I can't name any names since I don't follow alt rock genre or whatever you want to call this, but in passing I've heard this stuff at small bars and whatnot. You just won't really hear it in any mainstream genre

lol She was more disappointed in herself than anything. Her gold medal was guaranteed, until she fell on her landing. No one in that lineup had the level of difficulty that she had going with her two vaults. But it's still impressive to have fallen like that and still grab a medal.
