I came up with this very happy sounding melody today and I really liked it. So what do you think? The part that comes in at 0.15 is the bit I really like.

Love it! its got something of the oldschool about it and I think the bouncy bassline compliments it well.

Thanks, glad you like it. Yea it's mainly influenced by early 2000 hardcore tracks with a touch of Hands Up. I'm glad you like the bass because I went to the trouble of making it myself.

I like it and agree. Reminds me of 90's Euro Hardcore. There needs to be more 'Happy' Hardcore. This is purely my opinion but i think you would do well to not use that Trance lead (given the style of Hardcore it is) as the song goes from sounding like something original and unique to using something that pretty much every single other person uses, thus, losing the uniqueness.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't really know much about 90s hardcore as I was a bit too young then. I might try messing around with some other synth sounds though.

Nice, I like the melody too.
Continue working on this melody as a motif ! I'm sure it'll be a good track.
(Maybe it will sound a bit more Thick and Emotional if you layer up more synths/effects etc.? and widen up the stereo field maybe ? )
Bring Back the good old days of Happy Harry Hardcore !!

Thanks. This is just a very early clip using generic sounds to show off the melody and the final will probably sound very different but obviously keeping the happy feel.
