I'm watching the biuld up to poland v greece on bbc 1 just wondering what peoples predictions are for this years tournament what with england having a new manager and no pressure on them (they still aint gonna win) spain maybe? germany? holland? i'm excited what with me being neutral i'm just gonna sit back an watch some wonderful football

i normally love these tournaments but just cant get excited for this years for some reason, its not just cus england are shit, its just not doin anythin for me this time round.
hopefully after a few exciting games i'll be into it more, either way im going to pick germany as winners.

everyone always has high hopes for england, but they never seem to deliver. Alot of people say that British football is the best place for football, but how many of the actual good players (in Premier League) are british?

I wasn't looking forward to the tournament at all, but I've just watched the first two matches and they've really wet my appetite, plus it's always nice to see Super Pav score!

I think 'best place for football' and the place with the highest skilled players are different things. Not that i like the game either way.

still have high hopes for the dutch, little worried with Mathijsen's injury though...would love to see everyone in group b decimate portugal as badly as the turkey game

Poland vs. Greece was rather entertaining. Russia and Poland are going to the next round but that's it for them, I think.
Germany has to win the EURO 2012 considering that they were 3th (2006), 2nd (2008), and 3th (2010). They also had a perfect qualification like the Netherlands...

both games were entertaining today, usually the first day is always boring, I've backed France to win the whole thing but Russia as always looked good this game (they never carry on though) can't wait for Group B's games later today!

Not this time. Expectations are pretty much nil. Many predicting we won't get out of the group, which is well within the realms of possibility.

Well who expected holland to lose then??? i didn't they played reaaly poor so many chances but no goals they should have had a penalty for hand ball near the end of the game but overall they were poor

I actually thought Denmark played ok, The Nederlands didn't really have many clear-cut chances and I thought the 2 Denmark centre-backs were solid throughout and didn't put a foot wrong, while Krohn-Dehli was lively throughout.
I enjoyed the match, Denamark although not spectacular showed once again that being a solid team and fighting for each other can overcome skill and natural ability.
