Can any of you give a proper deffinition of the difference between Makina & UK-Hardcore (Happy Hardcore)????

makina is about 165/175 bpm, and happy HARDCORE is usually around 180/190 bpm (the stuff i listen to anyway). hardcore is better aswell!

i always considered them to be two species of the same style, separated by geography. sure, the UK variety is of generally much better quality, but essentially they're the same IMO

Makina is Spanish for Techno, but it usually refers to Spanish Hardcore. Its even more retardedly happy than UK Hardcore and is usually weak as ****! They're about the same speed tho, about 170. Its also got a reputation for being really badly made because we only get the shite stuff over here, but apparantly there is some good Makina :)

there are some brilliant makina tunes around, and a steady supply of them comes into the north east of england. i have loads of samples of gud spanish techno if any1 wants to here some, just email me. [email protected]

Aye, I live in tha Boro and all we get is Makina. We don't get Happy hardcore or any other form just Makina.
