hey, Im really want to get a projector for my next nite, I want to use the windows media player, bt for it to be in sync I hav to hav it streamin through wmp, Does any1 know a soloution to this or any software available to do similar, any help appriciated thanks :)

so it's throu the graphic card and not USB? Make it the default Screen and it should work.

IF you are using a laptop there will be a button config to switch the screen from internal to external and you should be good to go.

Cheers guys, dont mean to be stupid but Im not 100% sure what use mean, I dont know how to set the default screen, or where the config button is?? Im on wmp but I dont yet hav a projector do I need it set up for these options to be available??

You are not playing windows media player through the projector you are projecting your entire computer screen desktop.

on the laptop you have a RGB socket for an external monitor, plug that into the projector, go the display settings in your laptop to display external monitor, make media player full screen

There are many winamp plugins for this type of thing. Run a line from your main mixer to your laptop (Usually through the REC phono ports)
Then set winamp to show visualizations based on whats coming through the graphics card. Not too hard to set up mate.
Winamp beats Mediaplayer for this type of thing.
