It's been a while since I've been on here, my time's taken up these days with fatherhood, and it's even longer since I've been to a rave.
Anyway, my reason for posting is that I've dusted off a novel that I wrote a few years back and uploaded it onto authonomy.com. The site's run by Harper Collins, and if you get enough backing you can get a critique from them, and in a best case scenario get a publishing deal.
I offered the novel to users of this site free of charge a while back as although it's pure fiction, it's a horror novel, much of it is based on my experiences as a raver.
So, if any of you have a few spare minutes please follow the link, check out the first chapter, set in a Dutch rave, and if you like it please give it some stars and add it to your virtual bookshelf, which will help it climb the rankings. You will have to sign up but it's a quick and easy process and doesn't come with any ties.
There's also a lot of other good stuff on there for those of you who like your reading as well as your hardcore.
Thanks,
James
UPDATE: My novel got an Editors review, thanks to all those who took a look!

Looks good, It's inspiring me to get around to writing a story i've had in my head for ages, It's about a zombie/rage virus biological warfare apocolypse black comedy in Swansea which I call 'A Nightmare on High St.'
A tale of survivors of a biological warfare attack by an unknown group of terrorists that must escape the horrid confinds of Swansea that is swarming with 'Infected', People fallen victim to the horrendus contamination of this act of war, driving them insane and making them in to mere zombie like beings that strive for human flesh and blood like its bread and water. They are determind to get to saftey at all costs, Even the lives of others :D
EDIT: thinking about it, it's knd of like swansea now :D

@ Blackcrow, aye, the whole novel is just short of 100,000 words, and then there's the sequel...
@ Swansea247, get something down mate and stick it up on Authonomy. You "only" need 10,000 words to have it on the site, which isn't that much once you get going, and there are loads of unfinished books on there with people just looking for some initial feedback.
If either of you could find the time to sign up and give me a space on your bookshelf it would help push me up the rankings and be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking,
James

Actually looks quite interesting (considering I don't like books)... But I'm really not a reader :( Maybe one day!

Thanks for giving it a backing. The ultimate aim would be to sell the movie rights, just think of the soundtrack album!
