I plan on getting studio monitors, and I just looked at the prices and Akai Monitor RPM3 made my jaw drop hard to the floor - 93,56 in english pounds (in a swedish music shop, in my city)
I think it's a bit too good to be true, do anyone of you guys have, or had a pair of these, and mind to tell me a bit about these? Are they worth getting for production?
Also, I read something about that you can plug it into a USB port, sounds rather weird to me.
Thanks in advance!

I do actually know someone who made the mistake of buying a set of these, they're absolutely terrible. When a company doesn't release any proper technical specs for a set of speakers alarm bells should definitely be ringing. ;)
I'd save yourself a few hundred pounds to at least buy a useable set of entry level monitors.

Thank you loads! That was as I suspected. :) Also I am not really familiar with Akai making monitors, so that, and the price made me a bit suspitious.

Monitors I can hand on heart recommend are Samson, Resolv A6's. Absolutely awesome and not that much more than the cost of the Akai's. They are a discontinued item now, but even som I picked up a set from Thomann in Germany for bout 150.
Good luck!
