Do you like rock? If you do, which style do you prefer? Or are you versatile in forms?
I like it pretty much. I've just figured out my Rock style is Emo Rock (what I used 2 call Warm Rock). Though, Emo Rock which I was directed to by actual Emos was never good enough for me. But I guess Linkin Park would do lol (badass mixture of emo rock and hip-hop thematizing love-relationship-issues).
So yeah, warm/emo rock and metal would do for me.
Any other good Emo Rock/Metal recommendations?
Haha I know I should probably get suicidal on this one, and that some Emos might have cut their wrists listening to this, but this uplifting melancholy is mother****ing ecstasy art for me. :3

I like Rock and Metal.
I prefer a lot of the typical 70s & 80s Hardrock tracks, which express the breakout feeling of the motorcycle generation (although I am very far away of being a biker).
Scorpions, MSG, ACDC, Boehse Onkelz, Guns N' Roses, ZZ Top, and many more
Rock ballads are very beautiful as well.
Symphonic Metal is one of my favorite music genres, too (Nightwish, Leaves' Eyes, Sonata Arctica, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody, Within Temptation,...)
But simply regarding the kind of Rock music, that you seem to prefer, I'd say some of the Emo-stuff during the last years has been quite pleasurable as well. I think you will like this song:

For Rock (or Alternative, Punk), I like The Offspring and The Rasmus.
For Metal, I like Rhapsody (of Fire), Dark Moor, Blind Guardian, Stratovarius and Edguy

Listen to quite a bit of it, actually, this is just random songs I stole out of my playlist not really a real representation of all the rock I listen too:

I like punk rock, from old stuff like Conflict, Black Flag, Bad Religion, Minor Threat to the newer stuff like NoFx, Pennywise, The Dwarves, Left for Dead, Kill the Man who Questions, Dropkick Murphys etc.
I Like a lot of thrash metal like Slayer, and i'm bit of sucker for Man'O'War.
One of my favourite bands are Fugazi, the original 'emo' band, nothing to do with eyeliner or teen angst, just good well thought out hardcore
Other bands I really rate are Husker Du, BlackTrain Jack, Shai Hulud, Morning Again, and also a lot of the 'beat down' hardcore stuff Like Bulldoze, Irate, Blood for Blood and 25 ta Life

Simon: yea, and even some of their other songs sticks in some funny lyrics from time to time. Like at the end of Robin Hood "Caress my little john" :D

Nice ones, Samination and Simon! I like it.
Regarding the CD cover, is there anyone else who thinks with a tiny bit fantasy this would work for one of the "Happy Hardcore" or "Bonkers"-compilations as well?
It looks really cool!
