Do you have or are you planning to get any specific Hardware to plug into it (besides monitors of course)?

Not in food though. Not at all. Once I bought a "best quality" expensive ham. It looked different and sort-of cool, but it was shit. Like I took a peace of soft plastic and put some salt on it.
