More of a coffee drinker now as tea just doesn't seem to wake me up in the same way, but tea NEEDS milk and sugar, unless it's something like green tea which I wouldn't drink in the morning unless I was some kind of shaolin monk. Non-british-normally-north-american-friends alway say "You drink milk tea, right?" and it always confused me, I've only ever grown up with british teabag tea with milk and sugar. Milk tea is just 'tea' to me.
English breakfasts I don't do though, I can barely look at a slice of toast without feeling sick, breakfast is difficult for me and even though I don't drink at all anymore my favorite time to drink was actually in the morning - a vodka and coke after my coffee had just kicked in, that got me started for the day.

I drink tea every morning and before bed lol. I prefer black or green tea, I've never used milk actually but I'll try that out.

I usually don't add anything to my tea either, and lady grey and green tea are some of the best out as well as regular earl grey.
