I'm a big fan of anything electronic music, I used to listen SO MUCH drum n bass before I got back into hardcore and weirdly all these years on I still find it difficult to like again.

I've been there and back on so many electronic music genres...maybe even all of them; the ones that still stay with me (besides happy hardcore obviously) are:

Goa Trance
Psy Trance
Darkpsy
Forest Psy
Disco House
EBM
Chiptunes
Acid House
Euphoric Trance
J-Trance
Trip Hop
Big Beat

Those are the genres which for me, will never go away. I don't think I'll forget these like I have forgotten others

Don't really like gao or psytrance, but I can't say I've tried darkpsy, forest psy, or disco house. Not a fan of disco but maybe it is cooler with the house aspects.

Speaking of chiptune, do you guys know of any chiptune songs that sound kinda like this?

The songs in the scott pilgrim game are the only chiptune songs I've really liked, but I honestly barely looked so I'm sure there are a lot of epic ones out there that you know of.

Imo kinda same as uplifting, but with harder edge - closer to hardtrance, and with very euphoric melody.

Angel is such a classic, dangerously overplayed/overremixed though

they were pumping out a crazy amount of amazing euphoric trance in the late 90's/early 00's
good memories.

When I said Euphoric Trance I just meant it as a catchall phrase for anything that wasn't stuff like Tech Trance or Hard Trance. Anything with a big smooth euphoric breakdown that makes you feel good.

Holy shit netsky is awesome. I haven't heard danny byrd yet but im getting around to all the recommendations.

Euphoric trance was the first electronic music I really got into, so of course I got to love the stuff.

Agreed, angel is great. Hadn't heard it for a while, last time was probably a year ago.
