Just seen Olly post this on facebook. Unbelievable stuff.
American chaps probably won't know who this bloke is - he was a professional footballer in England known for legendary fitness and consistency, playing in the top division until he was 39.

Just seen this on Yahoo. I can't believe it! He seemed to be doing great things with Wales.

Terrible news, was a talented player, great left foot and intelligent on the ball. Was also taking Wales in the right direction as a manager.
Will be so hard for his kids, even more so because its suicide.

RIP, thoughts go to his family. A wife and 2 kids have lost a father and husband, and Wales a fine manager and role model.

I'm from North Wales and an Evertonion (same as Gary was) and was gobsmacked when my mate told me in work today! Nobody had a bad word for him in football, and what he has done for Wales this year has been amazing! All my prayers are to his wife and 2 little boys and to the rest of his family and friends!

There was something on the news here a couple days ago, how giving up playing is a lot harder than we think, and nobody prepares the players for it. It lead to drug abuse for a Norwegian footballer, it could be the cause of this tragic suicide as well.
