Unfortunately I can be sympathetic to the states. In our city we are facing the same thing. but the police are on our side its just the goverment that isn't. We have crazy bylaws for our parties that are so strict we only have about 2 or 3 parties a year in the city. But thankfully we can go to other cities that haven't adopted these bylaws for our party needs.
the other thing that gets me, in my opinion, is that in our city the after hours clubs weren't affected by these bylaws, and in our city, the after hours clubs are where alot of our gangs/dealers are. Not so much at the raves. We always have cops at our parties (which i don't mind) but they aren't at the after hours clubs.
