Title says it all really, if I play a song I've exported as MP3 back through VLC, it sounds nice and loud, no level problems, but then I stick it on Soundcloud and it sounds quiet as shit (with the Soundcloud volume turned all the way up), anyone have any idea why it's being such a gay? :/

hmm, do other songs on soundcloud sound quiet? just want to make sure its just not your browser volume turned down in the sound mixer..

Get Audacity and try exporting the file through there?
Is VLC the utility with the traffic cone as an icon?

Just my songs (some of them) sound quiet, seems to pick and choose which it wants to be quiet :s
And I'll give that a try Arche, and yes it's the traffic cone program :P
EDIT: Just uploaded Audacity version and not only does it work but it fixed the quiet one aswell? :/

VLC uses its own modified Codecs, so I wouldnt use it for proper checkups
