this game is heeeeeectic.
Had it for a few days now. First real FPS i've played and i'm digging it (i got it for free with my ps3). Not going to lie, playing it on a 50 inch plasma is dope. Still suck at it, and i find the controls a bit hard (right stick aiming is killing me) but it's still ****ing dope.
Anyone else got this? Impressions?

Yep, really loving it at the minute. Bad company 2 was brilliant and this ups the ante quite a lot. The single player game is good but not amazing and of course, multiplayer is where most people headed for straight away. Much more of a team game than COD, and despite me being very average i still enjoy the experience! Be interesting to see how many people dump it to for the 'gimmicks' of MW3 on tuesday, but i can't see any reason not to play both.

COD is the Burnout of the warfare world. Its an arcade with hectic fighting on small maps.
BF is the Gran Turismo. The ultimate war sim, recreating war games and tactical warfare.
They are two very different games.

I've always been more for more unrealistic games like Quake, Half-Life (and Metroid Prime). Closest to "normality" I've played are Crysis and Killzone. Other than that, I prfere PC versions

tbh I didn't rate COD at all & will be steering well clear of the new one.
I think when play the Tom Clancy games a lot these games just seem pretty boring.
I haven't tried BF yet. I usually try & steer clear of most things EA are involved with but like COD a few months back I will fold to public pressure & have a go. I just hope i'm not as disapointed again...

I like both, but enjoy BF more due to 1) vehicles & 2) more team players
really other than them being both fps, I don't think there are a lot of similarities. Maybe in the team deathmatch area but who plays BF for that? =P
Have been trying to level up in BF but keep getting sucked back into Uncharted 3 which is AWESOME!

battlefeild 3 rocks! jet noobs are wank though, small maps are really good for close combat fire fights had it since it come out much more tactical game play as from your cod noobs who run round spraying 100 bullets a second etc etc.. but at this moment in time i am opening my version of cod modern warfare 3 which has been waiting for me all day since i just finished work, so ill tell you which i prefer.

Can anyone answer me this question, on PS3 are the graphics the same as what a PC would have on max settings? I really want to get stuck into them graphics and I don't wanna get it for PS3 if the graphics aren't as powerful as PC :P
