Good Afternoon Ladles and Jellyspoons!
Winter is fast approaching and with it comes the 2nd seasonal Members mix.
a few lessons were learnt from the previous mix, so be sure to check the rules and familiarise yourself with them before committing, this time round, we thought we would make it slightly different, as last time it was just 2 songs:
How It Works (simple version):
Simply, all the DJs involved have 10minutes to strut their DJing stuff before passing the flame to the next DJ, who picks up where the previous DJ left off by mixing out of their last track. This continues until all the DJs have been on and the resulting mayhem is posted as one long continuous mix for everyone to download.

what you'll need:
you will need either
CDJs
DJ/Music Production software
Turntables *(you will need to be able to mix out of an Mp3)*
and software to record your mix.

How It Works (full version)
1.The names of those involved are put into a random list generator and the DJs will then mix in that order.
2. Each DJ has *roughly* 10 minutes to do whatever they want
3. The 10minutes begins from your first Drop and ends at the outro of your last song. You Let the last song play out till it finishes so the next DJ can use that to mix out of. (the outro part is not included in your 10 minutes).
4. Once You're done, you upload your 10 minutes to the FTP. All details and help will be provided, its very easy.
thats your part done:
Behind the scenes the end of your mix will be cut off, and sent to the next DJ via a PM with the instructions again, and a link to the mp3 so they can mix out of it. This process continues until all the DJs have mixed - once everyone is done all the mix sections are then spliced together and uploaded.
Whilst in progress all communication will be done through primarily through PMs.
Rules (have been added to since last time and may still be adjusted):
1. No Set-rips - simple rule
2. Check Your Levels! - When recording your mix, try your hardest to keep the levels in the green (minimal or no distortion!)
3. Try to be kind to the next DJ, whilst you can do whatever you want, at least give the next DJ something to work with ;)
4. its ok to back out from the mix, just let me know before or during your time (don't feel pressured to carry on if you're having trouble).
I'm sure I may have missed things out, and we can always adjust everything written above:

(Nov 3rd- 15th: 9pm GMT/3pm CT USA) signup in this thread.
(Nov 15th - Dec 15th) Mix starts and is released when finished

Would love to join again, but I'm afraid the 15 nov-15dec is the worst possible time as that's the time period all my exams are in :(

2 tracks, that's what usually takes to make 10 minutes @ 175BPM. And I hate mixing short tracks so I might aswell mix 3 <_<
