hey, does any1 know any good vst for altering voices, I hav recording myself talkin for an intro and hav tryed using the vocoder bt it was still clearly me jus reverbed, echo'd etc looking for a really deep slightly rebotit sound (think its called dusseldorf) cheers

Did you try pitching down the vocals and putting a heavy phaser on it? But I would keep messing with a vocoder to get the robotic sound.
Oh and some autotune might help too

^That. Vocoders are great, just mess around with everything. (It also happens that I use vocoder on my bass )

using a vocoder is all about setting it up & finding the right carrier to achive what you want it to do, autotune will give you different results... way different, but hey if you only want to disguise your voice then either will do the trick
