Lo' all
Just downloaded the trial version of Fruity 10. I used to have this when it was at version 6 but have been using other things since then.
In version 6 you could clone a sample/vst that you had loaded into the project, by right clicking and selecting clone track. It would just create a second instance of it below the one you had cloned. This feature does not appear to be there anymore, can anyone shed some light?
Spanks all!

The full version of Fruity 10 still contains this feature. You can right click elements in the step sequencer and clone or delete them.

Cheers mate.
Looks like a fair bit is disabled in the demo.
Do you use only fruity for your productions? I'm looking at cubase six, but not sure about shelling out 450!

Yeah I use it for all my productions. Its worth its value really. Its a versatile program, and the difference in output quality between it and Cubase - to me - is a little exaggerated. Commercial likes of Afrojack use Fruity Loops :)
Personal I think it'd be wise for you to get FL9 though. Easier to use in my opinion, but everyone has different styles in which they produce.

I use both FL10 and Cubase 5. I find FL10 easier to use, I prefer the workflow and I love that the sampler is built in. Cubase has Variaudio which is fantastic, it has FAR better audio editing capabilities, much more useful zooming, better routing on the mixer and better built in effects.
You wont have better sounding tracks just because you buy Cubase but it does have nice features/effects that are missing from FL and is the more professional all in package. There is nothing holding you back from making pro quality tracks on FL though if that is the way you want to go.
That's my opinion on the subject as a user of both DAWs.
