I discovered them a long time ago. Still can't be arsed using them. Would have to gain a complete understanding of them first with lots of practice and that's just too much hassle for something thats not at all neccesary. I will leave it for the mastering engineer to do on the master if i was ever to release anything.

I usually make my own masters top play my own stuff in my mixes. I'd gotten by using the T-Racks brickwall limiter and linear phase eq for a while til I also discovered the wonders of Cubase's Multiband Compressor. I have average comprehension of what a regular compressor does but the multiband seems like a completely different beast. nevertheless, I've gotten some pretty good results just by playing around.

I'm in FL studio, so I've got Fl Multiband Compressor. Thought it sounded prettuy gppd iuntiol i realised my snared were ****ed. Obviously i neeed to practice a bit beforeit will sound good, but knowlede is king. so i will be practicing until i master this masterint business.
Btw, can anyone tell that mI'm totally sober atm?
