So whats everyones views of that "Original Hardcore" CD??
i think its good that Ministry have finally realised that hardcore isn't dead!
This just proves that hardcore is back and bigger than ever!!!

I thought this might start a big thread, esp with the TV ad I scored :)

Possibly, or They jus' might be releasin' it for Nostalgia, such as those M.O.S "Bacc to the old skool vol 1 & 2" did, like someone might say .......
"oh yeah, i remember those tracks, they were wicked Bacc in the Day"
I don't think ther'yre releasing it because they think Hardcore isn't dead, more probaly because they think hardcore is dead.

I AM DISGUSTED WITH THIS ALBUM!!!
ok firstly - scooter - nessaja ISNT hardcore, its trance, secondly, everything is far too slow, and thirdly, its just pure crap!
ok so many may disagree but im appauled at the tracklisting and the intro to the site (thats how i found out the speeds of some tracks)
to me this is just another sell out hardcore cd for ppl who know jack shit about hardcore!

just remember: this is MINISTRY doing a hhc album!!! it's gonna have some crap on there.
Is this album going to be as big as Bonkers?: NO!
Is this album gonna b as good as next gen & BB's collection album?: NO!
I think that it will sell well, but only because of 2 reasons:
1) who mixed it
2) because its a Ministry release.
I think that it will be the same standard of any other bog-standard hardcore album.

notice all the non hardcore tracks are right at the start, then it builds up into some anthems. that's how you want it really. i know scooter isn't hardcore but nessaja's a track nearly everyone likes,so they put it in at the start. first impressions.
but then again if you're gonna introduce someone to hardcore, scooter's not the best of groups to show is it :P

Well whether one believes this release is just someone cashing in on hardcore or that it's going to suck or that it will be great...the bottom line is this.
People who never gave hardcore a chance or just don't know that much about happy hardcore are going to see this and a portion of them will go out and buy it.
Sure not all of the tracks are top shelf but there are some great anthems on there. If they like what they hear they will go out and hunt down more hardcore mixes and start going to events. It’s good for happy hardcore and good for us all.
I don’t know when was the last time a happy hardcore cd got advertised on TV? Never seen that here. Think of how many more people will be exposed to the music this way.
and for u pessimists out there...Hardcore is far from dead...just open your eyes...and EARS to the loads of new tracks that have been coming out l8ly

how the hell did they fit 28 tracks on one cd???? there must be some hardcore in-and-out mixing for this to happen. i play really fast (about 180-190bpm) and i can only fit 20 tunes into one cd, max. and this is gonna be slow. i hate really slow stuff. this cd personally looks a bit dodgy but hey, it could be good for hardcore, who knows.
drugs is not the answer... drugs? is the question... yes is the answer

I think it's very good... it's hard to find CD's with such a wide range of tunes, I mean I got Vinylgroover tracks on there and E-plus tracks... can't complain about that... Sure it's marketing is a little candy, but still a CD I would buy, if I bought CD's :)
