I'm getting so pissed at FL! Sometimes when I go tweak a sound or create a synth or whatever, it'll automatically change the whole pitch of the whole ****ing track so it sounds absolutely retarded and stupid, and there's no way to change it all back unless I luckily didn't overwrite the save before this occurred. In short, the whole track is destroyed by this - all sounds sound ****ed up!

Why does it do this, and how can I prevent it or revert everything back to normal? It helps if I go to every sound, click Misc and press "Reset" and uncheck "Use master pitch" or whatever it's called. But I don't know how bad that is (what effect it has overall), unchecking that box, but it restores at least part of the whole track.

I even googled this but it seems I'm the only soul in the world with this problem.

Did you try reseting the channel pitch at the top of the synth/sample?

Yeah ive experienced it too. Just turn master pitch back down to default, as it doesn't destroy any sounds ;)

Oh, and upgrade FL, I guess, unless you're already on 10. Haven't seen this problem after I got 9 (I think) :p

Haha, I totally missed the master pitch knob. Thank god! That helped. I think I must accidently have turned it down.

we've all been in that position :D

In future when that happens for a song or sample, check the master pitch, piano roll, pitch for each sample and its sampling (should be set to resample or Auto) and what key its in on the sample properties
