To all the producers out there, what was your biggest regret when making tunes over the years? Can be anything related to production.
Mine was when I watched the movie: Cannibal Holocaust for samples. Never again...

when it comes to production, that I dont live somewhere else. there seems to be a hardcore bubble where all the people who "make it" in the uk come from, its not particularly small bubble, but Berkshire and immedient surrounding counties "the south" of england
not sure entirely why this is, i'm guessing the scene is stronger there, the case for learning off each other "in the flesh" is greater, it must be far more easier to mobilise with others immidiently around you- otherwise (i'm only guesing) its a case of people doing collabs across the ol internet - one way of which I know certain producers of the past krept up the ladder (and I expect is still done) getting hold of others work under "collab" and just leaching.
but really a regret? no, not really, It bothers me that I don't get to be around the action and have to fork out retarded amounts of money to get to raves, but when i weigh everything up I'd still rather be in the lakes, that coupled with the whole "make it" what does "make it" even mean..surely thats a personal bar you set....hmm
for me "making it" on a major scale would be just to be part of something larger.
but..on a smaller scale, what I'm happy with, would be/is just for a few people to enjoy the music I make, even if thats just me and my 2 year old son lol, and put money into albums when they come out/buy music/merch when i can if I have money..

Regrets? Not really. Although, may be not bothering to finish a track before moving on to the next one....
....thinking about it, we do have a massive back-log of, imo, wonderful tunes that'll probably never be finished....
