I recently discovered an issue with some of my music, where some songs have parts of other songs in them... yeah.
http://soundcloud.com/dj-seaking/wtf this is an example, it has some parts of another totally different song in it has anyone else ever had this sort of problem, or know how to fix it?

For lack of better words, that's ****ing strange.
What audio player are you using? Have you tried playing them in different players? WMP, foobar2000, winamp, VLC, etc. I know foobar2000 also has a log viewer; you can use that to confirm if the file is corrupted (messages about it would likely pop up), although if it gave no warnings or errors, something else might be going on.
Secondly, you can download a hard disk checker from a company like Seagate or Western Digital (yes, they're free).

Its not the audio player, its as if some thing in my computer has mashed them together, i found out about it when i was mixing, using traktor to play it. then i went back used itunes, wmp to see if it was that, turns out it was the mp3 itself

Go ahead and run a hard disk check using one of the tools I linked to.
It sounds like Traktor might have something to do with this as well. I've never used the program before so I can't really advise. Have you checked their forums for any reported issues similar to what you're having?

I had this happen before. I think two of the same track numbers from different CDs somehow got mashed together. Wherever you got your music from, redownloading things one at a time might fix it.

This is indeed rather strange. I've never heard of this before so I see this as rather unbelievable.
I have no clue about how this would've happen but I hear in some transitions that this is not edited.

I've come across this problem once before and, imo, it was caused by the guilty party doing several different things with his computer at the same time
ie; several different programmes running at the same time as well as downloading music from the web.
I could be wrong but I think that he overestimated his computer and it became very confused....

could also be the indications of a failing harddrive. Are you sure the mp3 was "complete" from the beginning? Cause there's no way to see if a MP3 is corrupt, unless the corruption starts at the beginning or the end. Unless there's a CRC check
