This is just an idea I got in my mind and I wonder if this sounds ok or if I suffer from hybris, since at least I think it sounds good with some more work. You guys have by far more experience than me in this subject.

I experimented with a double bass that, however, is only made by an EQ:ed square
Can you give me a tip on how to make it more prominent without making it sound rubbish/destroying everything else?

at the moment i cant hear it much at all.
bring the level up, but only a certain amount.
Trial and error im afraid.

I added a small ammount of distortion to the bass and beefed the kick up a bit, and it sounds better now!
EDIT: I just listened to one of my other tunes and found out that a normal bass might work better

I like the bass as it is.
The lead is pretty nice, but it feels kind of small to me... Maybe I need to listen to less trance.
Either way, I adore it. Added to favorites, it's really nice! Looking forward to more!

There are two leads in this "track", mates. The one at 16/16 is instead of chords and the other one at half of the clip is the real lead. I'm experimenting with different sounds atm and I'll update later.
