http://soundcloud.com/phaazehardcore/hardcore-man-x Something I'm working on... Would like some feedback on the production, as I'm dying to improve and think I finally got a sweet bass and kick going. It's not mastered so it's not that loud, keep that in mind. :)

sounding good so far - i think it overall sounds a little too clean
and iiiiiiii think thats because its missing pads? somthing to give it a little more flow - i'm loving the arpeggio's at the start! not sure if i like the screamer synthline, perhaps a little too aggressive for the song? i dunno, thats just a personal thing..they sound fine in there
i'm not that good at commenting on stuff like this as i'm still trying to improve my own production!

I like it, and I think the lead fits the melody pretty well.

I Like. I've never played megaman x myself but this is sounding great. As for how clean it sounds I think it could be simply about tightening it up at the mastering stage. Get the mixdown right first, though.

Don't think it actually remixes a Megaman X song, but Scott Brown's track 'Interstate - Forever Yours' resembles a song that appears on X4.
Anyways, well I can clearly hear what song it is, since I like the Megaman X games :)

Thanks for the feedback, you guys!
As far as being aggressive... it is the boss battle music so... :)
I'll definitely see what I can add to the chorus part... I want to bring the bass out more, it's like it disappears behind the lead. I've tried adding compression and also I've removed the low end of the lead sound using an EQ so it won't interfere with the bass. Any tips?
