Does anyone here use Reason (preferably 5)?
Currently I use Cubase 5.5, and, to be blunt, it feels stale, slow, and buggy. I was wondering if there's a lot more to it than refills and so on.

I use Reason 4 Re-wired to Cubase 5.5.2 on win xp. It's stable as heck on my system. I would consider it a setback to only use Reason, though. For starters Reason by it's self (without Record) is only midi and it'd be silly to get Record for just the audio since you've already got Cubase 5, which in my opinion far exceeds the necessities that Record was designed to make up for. When Reason is Re-wired to Cubase I'd say its one heck of a VST as it's got you covered basically for all your synth and sampler needs. I chose not to upgrade to version 5 of Reason simply because it seemed to me like just more of the same, in other words, things I could already do with 4 and/or Cubase.

I'll support FunDaBounce's comments. Reason is a superb piece of software. Somehow it is limiting, but without limits. Hard to explain. Download the demo and give it a whirl!
