Well, Hardcore is a big step for me, songs built-up very different then what Im used to which is House/Club/Dance. Now since I'm a beginner with hardcore I thought maybe some of you could listen and tell me what could be done better.

As it is now, I mostly use the buildups and breakdowns in my transitions (the last transition didnt go that well). I know most of these songs are used a lot but working on it lol.

Some tips: Try not to ever mix vocals, even some of the best Djs can not do this right..

Intro was not carried out well, it feels to random and jumbled.
5:00-5:10: What the hell was that?
~6:40 transition: Was to sudden.

Other than that, I don't hear much wrong with it. Nice mix tho.

Just a little too hasty to say that tmo. Definitely he should practise, before trying getting into this seriously, but if you finally have developed the feeling for mixing up vocals, it will sound great.

Agree to your selected bad examples.

The choosen tracks or at least their sequence doesn't make any sense to me...
