Yes, quite... But thanks to him dance has became more mainstream in America, so maybe its not that bad?

no it's not bad, it's flatout terrible!

it's pretty much a repeat of what happened at the turn of the century. edm becomes so mainstream that the sound gets diluted and it all pretty much sounds the same. not only that but more irresponsible ppl start going to raves and take drugs like they're tic-tacs, overdosing and possibly dying.

and who ends up losing? the producers, djs and ravers & fans that have been there from the start. raves & clubs get raided and everything goes back deep into underground, where it should have been left alone.

and then those die-hard deadmau5 fans will go back to their lil waynes, britney spears and whatever else is mainstream atm

it happens in many US cities. hence the strict laws we had in early 2000s in some states for raves & electronic music festivals

*sing* O'er the land of the free. And the home of the brave! */sing*

Funny that there are still people out there still thinking America is a free country.

Comparable to Germany, when local authorities enacted new security requirements around the millennium. All of the Trance clubs were forced to close and today owners only run Pop/Black/House-clubs to prevent coming into trouble with the law.
